Our Story

DoxieJoy started with one very long dog and one very short December.

Every year we'd hunt for an advent calendar that actually felt like ours — not chocolate, not generic puppies, but dachshunds. Long bodies, floppy ears, that side-eye. We never found one. So we made it.

24 doors, 24 personalities

We sketched dozens of characters and kept the ones that made us laugh: the firefighter who's clearly too short for the job, the astronaut, the chef, the detective with a magnifying glass bigger than his head. Every figurine is sculpted on the same little dachshund body, then painted by hand, so the whole set looks like one family.

Made to keep

Chocolate calendars are gone by New Year's. Ours goes on the shelf, the desk, the tree — and comes back out every December. That's the whole idea: a small ritual you'll actually look forward to, and a collection that grows with your pup.

From our pack to yours

We're a small team of dachshund people. If something isn't right with your order, you'll get a human reply within a day — and if a figurine ever arrives damaged, we replace it, no questions asked.

Happy December,
The DoxieJoy team 🐾
